Product categories help organise your catalogue and make it easier for both you and your customers to browse, filter, and manage products during the ordering process. Categories are especially useful when your catalogue includes a large number of products.
Who Can Manage Categories

Merchants only: Customers do not have access to manage product categories.
How to Create and Manage Categories

Go to the Products Tab
In the left-hand navigation, click Products. -
Click “Categories”
Under the Products section, select Categories to view your existing list. -
Create, Edit, or Delete Categories

Create: Click Add Category, enter a name, and save.

Edit: Click on a category to rename or update it.

Delete: Remove a category using the delete option.

Assigning Categories to Products
To assign a product category:

During Product Creation: Use the Category dropdown when filling out the product form.

During Product Editing: Open the product, click Edit, and select a category from the dropdown.
Important Notes

Deleting a category does not delete the products within it. Products will remain in your catalogue and can be reassigned to a different category.

Categories improve navigation and filtering for both merchants and customers, especially when placing or managing orders.
