The House Customer name will follow this format:YourOrganisationName - House Customer

Restrictions on the House Customer
To ensure the House Customer remains consistent and avoids accidental issues, some settings are locked:
| Feature | Allowed? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Delete the House Customer | ❌ | It must always exist |
| Change the customer’s name | ❌ | Name stays fixed |
| Add staff / users under the House Customer | ❌ | No user accounts can be added |
| Place orders | ✅ | Fully supported |
| Sync orders to accounting software | ✅ | Can be mapped (e.g., to Cash Sales account) |
| Log in and browse as a customer | ✅ | Useful for testing and store previewing |
Outside of these few restrictions, the House Customer works like any regular customer.
Accounting Integration Notes
If you are syncing orders to your accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB):
The House Customer can be mapped to a Cash Sales contact or equivalent.
Orders placed under the House Customer will be sent through like normal invoices.
This is helpful when recording internal transactions or cash-based orders.
Summary

Cannot be deleted or renamed.
Doesn’t send any email notifications.
