In B-Cart, only merchants can create customer accounts. Creating a customer account allows your buyers to place orders, view products, and manage their own users.
Who Can Create Customers

Merchants: Can add and manage customer accounts.

Customers: Cannot create their own accounts without an invite from a merchant.
How to Create a Customer

Go to the Customers Page
From the main menu, select Customers. -
Click "Add Customer"
Use the Add Customer button to begin creating a new account. -
Enter Business Details
Fill in the customer’s:-
Business name
-
ABN (if applicable)
-
Contact information
-
Delivery and billing details
-

Add the First User
After the customer is created, you’ll need to add their first user so they can log in and manage their account. -
Email Notification Sent
The customer will receive an email notifying them that their account has been created, along with a link to access their portal.

Ensure business details are accurate before saving.

Confirm the customer’s email address is correct so they receive their access link.

You can add more users to the customer account at any time.
