To accept credit card payments through B-Cart, you’ll need to connect a Stripe account. Follow the steps below to get started.
Step 1: Connect to Stripe

Navigate to the Integrations tab in your B-Cart dashboard.

Click on Stripe.

Click the button to begin the Stripe onboarding process.
This will redirect you to Stripe’s secure onboarding flow, which typically takes 15 to 20 minutes. Stripe will ask for your business details, identity verification, and bank account information.
Note: You must create a new connected Stripe account through B-Cart, even if you already have an existing Stripe account. Stripe does not allow B-Cart to access data from pre-existing accounts due to privacy restrictions. The connected account you create is fully owned by you, and B-Cart does not manage payouts, refunds, or disputes.
After Connecting
Once you’ve completed the onboarding process, your Stripe account will appear in the Stripe section under Integrations.

Set the account to Active.

Optionally, set a surcharge percentage between 0% and 1.7%. This will be passed on to your customers during checkout.
Stripe Payment Fees
Stripe charges transaction fees:

Domestic cards: 1.7% + $0.30 per transaction

International cards: 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction
B-Cart includes a small platform fee to support integration and ongoing support:

Effective domestic card rate: 1.85% + $0.30

Effective international card rate: 3.65% + $0.30
You Stay in Control
All Stripe accounts connected through B-Cart are direct accounts. This means:

Payments are deposited directly into your Stripe-connected bank account.

You retain full control over refunds, disputes, and chargebacks.

B-Cart does not mediate or manage transactions on your behalf.
Removing a Stripe Account
If you need to disconnect your Stripe account:

Go to Integrations > Stripe.

Click Remove Stripe Account.
